Our artist highlight section looks to showcase some of the eccentric personalities to whom we link our "Sounds Like " wine pairing notes. As we have mentioned before, the audio sensory is undervalued in the wine segment and we feel the need to push the boundaries by tying the two together as we feel every style of music has a different affect on our grey matter and wine also does in the same respect.
Pop music singer Madonna was born in Bay City, Michigan, on August 16, 1958. In 1981, she went solo as a pop singer and became a sensation on the then male-dominated '80s music scene. By 1991, she had achieved 21 Top 10 hits in the United States and sold more than 70 million albums internationally.
Known for her constant reinvention as a performer. Her biggest hits include 'Papa Don't Preach,' 'Like a Prayer,' 'Vogue,' 'Secret' and 'Ray of Light,' among many others. Madonna's career now spans more than 40 years and we salute her for her contribution in music, philanthrophy and she is truly an inspiration for many women all over the world.
