Wine Insight
Claus Preisinger is one of, if not the best red wine makers in Austria. Working in the town of Gols on the northeast side of the large, but very shallow, lake Neusiedlersee near the Hungarian border, Claus Preisinger farms biodynamically and conscientiously and his approach in the cellar is minimalist resulting in extraordinarily expressions.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this cuvee is elegant and refined with beautiful aromatics of wild berries, spices, pepper and dried floral all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is remarkably balanced with a sensational silky texture which glides effortlessly across into the spicy, mineral laced finish.
