The Domaine des Enfants was founded 2006 by Swiss born Marcel Buhler and his Oregonian, sommelier-turned-chef de cave wife, Carrie Sumner. It consists of 25 ha mainly old vineyards of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Lladoner Pelut on different soils (schist, granite, gneiss and limestone) and heights situated in the greater area around the small village of Maury.
"This cuvee showcases a full-bodied richness and depth to go with lots of darker fruits, cassis, liquorice and spice. Made from Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Lladoner Pelut, it has a voluptuous, hedonistic style and should drink well for upward of a decade." - The Wine Advocate
