Wine Insight

Dave Geyer and Koen Janssens are the Yetti and the Kokonut. These two high-octane, talented young winemakers have partnered up to produce some truly original and thrilling wines from sustainable vineyards across South Australia.

A friendship turned into a balanced wine making partnership, Yetti who manages the vineyards and Koko who does the sale side off the business. Together they make the wine. Strongly believing that it all starts in the vineyard, Yetti and the Kokonut always farm, co farm or have a strong input into the vineyards they take fruit from. The name Yetti and the Kokonut comes form our nicknames given during vintage. These wines are colourful, flavourful and a little tongue in cheek. Best served with good friends and plenty of good vibes.

The B'Rosé is the product of the bromance between Dave Geyer and Koen Janssens. Two friends that love making wine together. This is the perfect little pink for Summer.

This is Cab Franc, Semillon, Red Semillon, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier vinified separately and blended together to make a wonderfully aromatic style of Rosé. The fruit was fermented in old oak with a varying time on skins.

The varieties complement each other perfectly to create an energetic wine brimming with personality.

All off the varieties are fermented seperate and aged in seasoned wood. With this wine, it’s less about the varieties but more about achieving a structural yet fruit forward, dry style of rose that you just want to take to park/beach/hills and enjoyed with friends/family/lover(s).

Crushed plum and fig with hints of lemon/lime. Very uplifting nose. Soft vanilla touches in back ground. Bright start of the pallet with flowers in mid pallet and lemon squash to finish it off. Definitely a smashable rose.
